1. What is TrackMyList.com? How is it different from traditional Buddy Trackers?

Well, first TrackMyList.com is a list tracker based on an improved model of AIM Buddy Trackers. You get to make a list, put a list link in your profile, and then people click on the list. For more information, visit the About section.

2. What exactly is a "list"? I don't really understand the concept.

Okay, a list is, well, a list. Example lists include "My Buddies", "Julia's BFFs", etc. When you first register, a default list titled "My Buddies" is created. You can delete this default list if you like and you can make more lists and give each list a title. Each list has it's own list link, which you copy into your AIM profile. When someone clicks the list link their screen name gets added to that list that they clicked on. The Buddy Icon Collage is also tied to each list; every list has it's own Buddy Icon Collage and list of "clickers".

If you want, you can put multiple list links in your AIM Profile at the same time, or you could alternate between list links - perhaps putting up a link for List X one week, and then a link for List Y another week. You pick. You can have unlimited lists!

3. Where do I get the link to put in my AIM Profile?

After you've registered, login to your TrackMyList.com account. Then click the "View Code/Get New Link" link under the list you want to get the link for. Copy the code that appears into your AIM Profile, and voila!

4. What if I forget my password?

Please understand that AIM passwords are separate from TrackMyList.com passwords. If you forgot your AIM Password, well, we can't help you there. AIM has a password recovery form on their website. A link to change your TrackMyList.com password is IMed to you, so make sure you are logged on to AIM before you start this password changing process.
